dj writes "OpenGear has just announced that its range of uClinux-dist based console servers now support RDP and VNC sessions over SSH tunnels. This feature is offered in addition to the numerous console server features already present such as power management, alerts, logging, CLI,
strong security and web access. According to the announcement, "Opengear recognized a unique need not currently being filled by existing remote control software products including pcAnywhere from Symantec, NetOp Remote Control from CrossTec Corporation and LapLink".
According to other press releases, OpenGear is leveraging OSS to bring new ideas to market both cost effectively and quickly."
