Optimising size of samba
Question Abhin Xavier writes "hi, I am trying to run a samba server in uclinux on a blackfin preocessor. There is around 14 MB allocated as RAMFS for running the kernel and when i try to compile the kernel by including samba, the memory limit is exceeded. I hsven't used samba before. What i actually want is to share some memory on the board , so that my PC running windows can access it. Is there any way i can cut down some packages so that the memory used to put samba into the kernel is reduced???"
